Let’s Get Started

Outstanding Residential Project | 2025

What began as a small repair quickly evolved into a full roof restoration. The home originally featured an extinct Dura Slate roofing system, requiring extensive research to identify a modern replacement that preserved the home’s appearance while improving durability. The homeowner ultimately selected EDCO ArrowLine Slate steel shingles, offering the classic slate aesthetic with enhanced longevity.

The complex roof included steep slopes up to 14/12 and 26 valleys, requiring careful planning, specialized safety equipment, and precision installation. Our team also engineered custom solutions on-site to protect the metal panels during installation and correct a design flaw at a patio turret and dead valley area.

The finished roof reflects craftsmanship, innovation, and a commitment to restoring the home with a system built to perform for decades.

Outstanding Residential Tile Project | 2024

Located on Eagle Mountain Lake in Fort Worth, the Eagle Mountain Lake Villa project showcased our award-winning craftsmanship and problem-solving expertise. Spanning over 120 squares across a main house, guest house, and cabanas, this Spanish-style transformation featured CIT 17-1/2″ Mission two-piece barrel tile in a custom plum, mocha, and chocolate blend.

Our team navigated steep 12:12 pitch roofs, complex drainage challenges, and material logistics with precision, partnering with Roof Tile & Slate and Spec Building Corp to deliver a seamless result. The rare two-piece tile system, paired with custom copper details, created a stunning and durable finish that reflects both elegance and functionality.

This award-winning project stands as a testament to the collaboration, safety, and craftsmanship that define Joe Hall Roofing & Contracting.

Outstanding Residential Metal Project | 2024

Completed in Arlington, TX, this metal roofing project spanned 197 squares across a main house, guest house, and gazebo on a 10-acre estate. Our team replaced a failing synthetic slate roof with EDCO Arrowline Slate metal roofing in Stone, offering the timeless appearance of slate with the unmatched durability, solar resistance, and longevity of metal.

The homeowner’s dissatisfaction with the original roof led us to guide them through on-site mockups, product education, and scope planning to ensure the perfect solution. Installing a product not often in our repertoire, our crew excelled through targeted training, precision installation, and close collaboration between sales and production teams.

This project exemplifies innovation, craftsmanship, and teamwork—delivering a stunning, functional roof that exceeded expectations while reinforcing our reputation as a trusted, award-winning roofing contractor.

Outstanding Residential Project | 2022

This award-winning residential roofing project was a true test of craftsmanship and coordination. With three roof systems— CertainTeed Cedar Crest designer composition shingles, custom copper standing seam, and a Carlisle TPO flat roof—installed across steep 10:12 and 14:12 pitches, the complexity was immense. Our team is most proud of the communication and superior workmanship that brought this six-figure project to life. The steep slopes, turret details, and last-minute design additions were among the toughest challenges, but they also made the Pearson project unique. Today, the transformation speaks for itself, earning recognition in the Golden Hammer Awards and delighting the homeowner with a stunning and durable roof system.

Residential Innovations In Roofing Project | 2024

This historic Fort Worth residence presented a rare challenge: restoring a fire-damaged roof while preserving its architectural character. Our team salvaged and reused reclaimed Ludowici flat tiles in vintage green, blending them with medium bronze Berridge Cee-Lock standing seam metal roofing to create a seamless, sustainable solution across the home’s 2- and 3-story structures.

The project required expert planning, from carefully removing and reinstalling delicate reclaimed tiles to integrating them with standing seam metal through precision flashing and custom copper detailing. In total, 50 squares of roofing were installed—32 squares of tile and 18 squares of standing seam metal—delivering both resilience and beauty.

By combining historic materials with modern innovation, we honored the past while creating a roof built for the future. This award-winning project reflects our team’s craftsmanship, sustainability practices, and ability to solve complex challenges with lasting results.

This University Park home in Dallas, Texas, underwent a full two-story re-roof, stucco repaint, window replacement, and new chimney cap installation. From the start, protecting the property’s extensive landscaping was a top priority, and our Production Team implemented careful plans to keep it safe throughout construction. The project included removing hail-damaged standing seam panels, handling 25-foot runs from two stories up, and completing all work with strict safety measures. New Anderson windows, custom chimney caps, and a flawless 24-gauge Berridge Cee-lock standing seam roof in Medium Bronze brought the home back to life with renewed durability and timeless beauty.

Outstanding Commercial Project | 2022

We are proud to have earned recognition for this award-winning commercial roofing project on this historic 125-year-old Arlington church. This complex build required innovative solutions, from retrofitting 40-foot Berridge standing seam panels and TPO sections over an existing metal roof and spray foam to safely removing the steeple and managing three-story heights. Despite supply chain challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic and daily coordination with church staff, our team delivered a leak-free, durable, and beautifully executed roof system, highlighting the craftsmanship and teamwork behind our Golden Hammer Awards achievement.

Outstanding Metal Project | 2021

This commercial reroofing project replaced a poorly installed, hail-damaged metal roof on a local bank in Arlington, Texas with a premium Berridge Cee-Lock Standing Seam system in dark bronze Kynar. To keep the bank fully operational, we maintained safe access to drive-through lanes, the ATM, and customer parking throughout construction. Unique design challenges included correcting a masonry chimney built directly on the roofline—requiring custom support and new flashings. The result is a watertight, durable roof that not only enhances the bank’s appearance but also resolves years of leaks and performance issues.

Outstanding Residential Project | 2021

This award-winning Colonial Fort Worth roofing project was one of the most unique and challenging in our history. Tasked with preserving the beauty of a 100-year-old Mineral Wells clay tile roof while doubling the home’s size, our team sourced reclaimed Ludowici Norman Tile to blend seamlessly with the original. Combining four different roofing systems—historic clay tile, reclaimed Ludowici, Carlisle TPO, and GAF Timberline composition—we delivered a masterful integration of old and new. The result is a timeless, durable roof that honors architectural heritage, overcame supply and design challenges, and earned recognition in the Golden Hammer Awards.

Outstanding Residential Project | 2025

This custom new-construction home featured 68 squares of Verea Spanish clay tile, blended from four colors to achieve a warm, natural appearance that complements the home’s Spanish-style architecture. The roof included complex one- and two-story elevations and limited equipment access, requiring much of the tile to be hand-carried and installed with precision.

The design also incorporated double-lock standing seam metal roofing, where our team engineered custom flashing transitions to integrate the metal seamlessly into the clay tile system.

Despite a busy jobsite with multiple trades working simultaneously, daily coordination and attention to safety ensured smooth execution. The finished roof reflects the craftsmanship, planning, and pride required to deliver a roofing system that honors the timeless character of Spanish-style architecture.

Arborlawn United Methodist Church Roofing Project | 2025

This project concluded a two-year process working with the church board, engineers, and legal counsel to properly restore the roof following storm damage. The large-scale project included four roofing systems across 882 squares, requiring specialized crews, detailed sequencing, and a five-phase production plan.

Working on an active church campus required extensive coordination, multiple crane lifts, and strict safety protocols. Our team also redesigned areas of improper drainage with a fully tapered insulation system to eliminate ponding water.

The architectural centerpiece is a Western States Metal standing seam roof in Blackened Copper, creating a striking crown on the Fort Worth skyline and showcasing the craftsmanship and coordination required to complete a project of this scale.
